Vitasta School of Law and Humanities today organized an insightful seminar on the fundamentals of stock market trading for its incoming freshman batch. The event, held on the institution's premises, featured renowned market expert Mr. Faizan Malik Shah as the guest speaker.
The session was convened on the special invitation of the Director of Vitasta School, Mr. Irfan Rahim Guru, with the aim of providing students with a foundational understanding of financial markets and prudent investment practices.
Mr. Faizan Malik Shah, a certified trader with over two decades of experience in the share market, delivered a comprehensive overview of the trading ecosystem. His address demystified the process of investing, emphasizing that one can begin with a very small amount by following correct and disciplined practices. He highlighted the importance of knowledge, risk management, and long-term strategy over speculative trading.
In a significant announcement, Mr. Malik committed to personally mentoring interested students from the college. He assured that he would guide them through the correct practices of investing in the trade market, providing them with valuable practical insights.
The event was conducted under the overall supervision of the Principal of Vitasta School of Law and Humanities, Mr. Rakib Ahmad Zia. The proceedings were attended by faculty members Mrs. Saheena Tahir and Mrs. Nosheen Ismail. Student representatives from the senior batches, Sheeraz Bhat and Faizaan Fayaz Zargar, were also present, fostering an environment of inter-batch learning and engagement.
In his closing remarks, Principal Mr. Rakib Ahmad Zia stated, "We are committed to providing our students with holistic education that extends beyond the traditional curriculum. Understanding financial literacy is a critical life skill, and we are grateful to Mr. Malik for sharing his expertise and for his generous offer to mentor our students."
The seminar was met with keen interest and enthusiastic participation from the fresher batch, who engaged in an interactive question-and-answer session with the expert.
