Vitasta School of Law and Humanities is affiliated with the University of Kashmir and recognized by the Bar Council of India since its establishment in 2011. It offers B.A LL.B Five-year integrated course at the undergraduate level to answer the growing demand for legal professionals, corporate lawyers, and well-groomed techno legal experts. Vitasta School of Law continues to produce a battery of well-trained advocates, administrators, police personnel, and other allied legal occupations. It is the most prestigious law college in the valley of Kashmir which attracts a good number of students from the Jammu province as well. It has an intake capacity of 120 students per semester admitted by way of an entrance test conducted by the University of Kashmir as per the BCI Regulations and university norms.

Vitasta School of Law is centrally located on the bypass nearer the Nowgam railway station, easily accessible to the students from almost all the districts in the valley including the districts of Poonch and Rajouri. The institution has a huge infrastructure with a four-storeyed building with an ample number of classrooms, and a spacious library with a huge number of books on all subjects of law including humanities, literature, and reference material. Besides, it has a moot court, administrator, and principal chamber with wi-fi connectivity and a newly built state-of-the-art Conference Room with all the logistic support. The whole building is fitted with CCTV cameras, and fire extinguishers as a safety measure.

The institution has the distinction of publishing a peer-reviewed and refereed research journal known as ‘vitasta law journal’ and a student magazine titled ‘Vyeth’ which has earned a name and fame over the years. It has highly qualified and trained staff to teach all the subjects including the non-law courses as prescribed by the BCI. The School focuses not only on theoretical learning but also on practical training. Imparting practical training like moot courts, legal literacy, debates, competitions, internship programs, etc is the sine qua non for overall legal education imparted by the institution. Eventually, it produced a battery of lawyers, advocates, law officers, administrators, legal consultants, prosecution officers, and law teachers.
