Release ceremony of Vitasta Law Journal (vol 10) and Vitasta Magazine (2024) edition

The release ceremony of the Vitasta Law Journal (Vol. 10) and Vitasta Magazine (2024 Edition) was held on 23rd of July 2025 at the Vitasta Campus, Srinagar. The event was graced by Prof. Dr. Shahnaz, Head of the Department and Dean, School of Law, University of Kashmir, who was the Chief Guest on the occasion.

The programme commenced with a warm welcome address by Principal Mr. Rakib Ahmad Zia, who highlighted the significance of academic publications and the platform they offer for critical legal discourse. This was followed by a captivating address by Prof. Dr. Shahnaz, who shared her insights on legal history and professional ethics, while also encouraging the students to cultivate a deeper understanding of law beyond the classroom.

In a special interaction session, the Chief Guest engaged with the newly admitted semester students. Her vast knowledge and sharp legal acumen drew great appreciation from the students, who found her words inspiring and thought-provoking.

The event concluded with a formal vote of thanks delivered by Ms. Nowsheen, faculty member, who acknowledged the presence of the Chief Guest, faculty colleagues, and the enthusiastic participation of students.
